I understand what that idea is around it because players and managers attitude at times is not a good look.

Rugby has a major discipline when it comes to refs and officials. You don't get that dissent.

You say football is a simple game and you're spot on. Coaches have oversimplified things which personally has taken the game to a very average level.

Similar to officials, back in the day offside and handballs were simplified.

The game has gone bonkers.

Personally, a Blue card is fine - 10 minutes sin bin.

If they commit another "blue card" offence = Yellow card/10 minutes sin bin

Then a third action would be a red.

It's a little bizarre that football won't take any lead from other sports, there is plenty they can cherry pick, but seem to think they know best! Also too many people poking a nose in instead of talking to those within the game and gauging opinion.

Two yellows for dissent and if they already have a yellow they are sent off. See this FA graphic https://www.thefa.com/-/media/thefacom-new/files/get-involved/respect/sin-bins-temporary-dismissals-infographic.ashx?la=en&hash=92F1D621EE371524AF44F9D15B386408

Two dissent and off.

I have seen very few used once it settled in. Players know they will be off for 10 mins and it improves their behaviour.

I don't think many are against the dissent side of it, it's the cynical foul they also want to punish via this method.

Some sides might end up with only a few players left 😂😂😂😂 Think it’s a good call…. And I like it when it’s used…. Never seen it used badly.

They'll soon learn, especially if clubs take hard stance and withhold wages and expenses!
