I understand what that idea is around it because players and managers attitude at times is not a good look.

Rugby has a major discipline when it comes to refs and officials. You don't get that dissent.

You say football is a simple game and you're spot on. Coaches have oversimplified things which personally has taken the game to a very average level.

Similar to officials, back in the day offside and handballs were simplified.

The game has gone bonkers.

Personally, a Blue card is fine - 10 minutes sin bin.

If they commit another "blue card" offence = Yellow card/10 minutes sin bin

Then a third action would be a red.
