Without a doubt - this stinks! It’s a total lack of respect for ‘customers’, a term not often used in football. Imagine other businesses changing arrangements at a whim. Customers would soon take their patronage away. Of course, football fans are different. They are connected to THEIR club.

Without that connection, many would never go again if messed about like this. TV broadcaster and the football clubs are misusing this loyalty. It’s wrong!

Their should be a minimum period of notice for wilful changes to a fixture. Change to suit a broadcaster is not something unforeseen such as bad weather or a long cup run.

Once again the FA is complicity in looking at where the money comes from.

It appears TV as in the Premiership is now calling the tune in the National League. Great to get the profile and for people like me who live abroad but it comes at a cost to regular supporters who are the life blood of any club and that is not fair. As with everything in life a balance is needed, on this occasion it is consideration for the fans of every club with a minimum of 4 weeks notice of any changes in dates or times of any forthcoming fixtures.
