Firstly you are correct the game needs new and proper governance, bigger clubs certainly up to the Championship are very happy to take players who prove themselves from the National League but are not always prepared to feed the hand which at times feeds them. I think also we need to be thankful we have TK, since he took over we have never been in the position Southend now find themselves in and although the move to the Hive dose not suit people who cannot be bothered to support their team by traveling a few extra miles TK insured we have a state of the art stadium given our league status which is the envey of many.

Saw Southend play in 2020 when under Sol Campbell they were about to be relegated from League 1 to League 2. I can’t believe they fell so fast!!
I wonder how many more clubs are on the very brink of closure?
Probably quite a few up and down the country, and I'm sure the cold snap with no games didn't help a few of them.
