Work in progress continues

After a week’s holiday it was back to football and back to blogging as the new season starts to get ever closer. I made the trip up to The Hive once again on Tuesday evening as a Pompey XI made the journey up from the South Coast, maybe I should have hitched a lift.

It was a return for former Bees coach Simon Bassey and a management team I have a lot of respect for, the Cowley brothers Danny and Nicky, who know the non-league scene well and have had success nearly everywhere they’ve been in the game, a good test for Dean Brennan’s side.
