Seventh league win has Wick keeping the pressure on

Having watched the Lionesses beat the world champions USA on Friday evening at Wembley which meant a late night return to Littlehampton, Saturday was all about staying local.

With most clubs away or others I’d already seen this season, Wick vs Oakwood was the choice and a chance to see if the home side were heading back on track after an impressive start to the season but a recent blip in form.

Kick off was delayed by half an hour due to a road closure on the main A road which gave extra time to soak up some unexpected autumn sunshine while we waited.
