Why we choose non-league football

What is it that draws you to non-league football? I don’t think anyone has one definitive answer to that, for many I believe it’s a combination of things especially for those who have almost turned their back on the professional game at the highest level.

I myself have been a Tottenham fan for around 40 years and at one point in my early 20’s I used to go to White Hart Lane and Underhill on alternate weeks such was the point I could afford both.
