What’s an acceptable level to be paying to watch non-league football? It’s certainly a point which raises huge debate of being over-charged more than no quibble, and should that cost reflected in both home and away ends where segregation is enforced?

Cost is everything, price it right and they will come and watch with a winning team on the pitch, the latter the only key to really boosting attendances. Get it wrong however and the hardcore support is pretty much all that’s guaranteed to attend.

Where the price of everyday life is rising constantly value for money is what a lot of people look for from everything and football has to conscious of its price level in the grand scheme of things.
