Action from Bognor Regis vs Wingate & Finchley in the Isthmian League Premier Division

One thing you can guarantee for the last few months is it’s going to rain in Sussex on a Tuesday night. Never have I known so much of the wet stuff to fall so often when teams are running out of days and weeks to finish the season.

Without an extension granted by the FA many are up against the clock to complete their fixtures in time especially when some are involved in relegation or play-off battles.

Sitting here last night I was watching the games fall one by one on social media even as late as 6.30pm, the last chance saloon for me being Bognor Regis Town just down the road despite the rain still falling. Pitch inspection passed at 6pm, in the car with the thick coat and off I went.
