The weather has certainly been calling the shots in the last few weeks and leaving me with a lack of options of where to go for a game. Those with a 3G surface are now finding themselves in pole position when it comes to games played but also vital that the 90 minutes are turned into three points.
With pitch inspections causing issues up and down the country, a couple of my choices were called off early on Friday and Saturday morning, but as always there were one or two options on the plastic surface.
Had the traffic not been in chaos most of this week in Sussex then Eastbourne Borough would most likely have been the destination on Saturday afternoon but given the problems on the main A27 heading that way coupled with an accident along the route as well, Gaz and I settled on Lancing at Culver Road taking on Sevenoaks Town, my old home town.
