3G/4G doesn't have to be the answer

Pitches cause no end of debate in the non-league game. Very rarely nowadays do you see a game called off in the professional sphere, even the top level of the National League pretty much escape any postponements.

The clamour for 3G and 4G surfaces increases whenever there is a bad spell of weather, and this generally comes around those whose arenas suffer from a variety of issues causing games to be called off in bulk.

There is no doubt the synthetic surfaces benefit massively in terms of commercial revenue for any club and bring communities even closer together, it’s a massive no brainer from that point of view.
