Wanderers take the plaudits
City lacking the spark to unnerve their Surrey hosts
It’s nice when you get offered some free hospitality and I for one am not really one for taking it up, it’s not what I go to football for, clubs need the money, I prefer to pay and I know the clubs get coverage out of it, but that’s not the point for me.
This week however I’ve enjoyed some free football, courtesy of my connection with the podcast I do, the Premier Non League Podcast (search the PNLP) and don’t worry I still spent at the burger bar, two good efforts from both Horsham and Dorking Wanderers there.
Saturday was a trip to Meadowbank with fellow podcaster Gaz for some National League action that didn’t involve Barnet! York City were the visitors on a damp, cold November afternoon, both sides in a run of bad form, Marc White desperate for another three points.
