Trophy action finally underway for Barnet

Bees return to action after weather puts paid to competitive games

The bonus of Saturday’s FA Trophy games being postponed meant no need to find a midweek game for the Tuesday before Xmas, The Hive beckoned once more as Step 3 Plymouth Parkway made the long trip up from the West Country to take on high flying Barnet.

Of course it was also a chance to catch up with a few of the Barnet folk before the Christmas break, it seems a long while since they were last in action, indeed it was 3rd December.

Having had a couple of weeks without a game, a majority of the players were chomping the bit to play, a few missed out with illness  but 90 minutes was really needed with Boreham Wood in mind on Boxing Day and a chance for others to stake a claim for a regular starting spot.
