Trip Out West Brings A Different Story

Much to learn elsewhere in the non-league pyramid

As Bank Holiday Monday provided an extra game to the midweek festivities, Tuesday night meant a game as well but not where you’d think!

A couple of days away with the girls meant getting an extra game in in the South West of country tied in with a trip to see relatives which hasn’t happened for a good five years.

After the Monday game it was a road trip and overnight stay in Bournemouth, back on the road Tuesday with an overnight stop booked in Exeter.

The Tuesday night action took place at one of my newest programme column clubs, Brixham AFC. I always try and get to each of the club’s as a small thank you in a way, the Fishermen and Lower Breck this year were to be a challenge compared with the other six clubs!
