Tight games bring fewer goals
Season clicking into gear as the final stretch is in sight
Staying in Sussex has been the theme recently, and not by design either, well almost not. Now we’re the other side of Xmas there are only a few teams to fit in on my list of places I wanted to get to this season for varying reasons.
As it worked out a postponement a week ago kept me in Sussex with a top of the table clash, the midweek game between Worthing and Slough Town was planned as was this weekend’s trip to Bognor Regis Town for the first time this season.
Similar to the midweek choice I picked the game on the basis of one side going really well against another who are marking their mark on the season and a good opportunity to check out those sides to see if they can mix it with the others and keep a play-off run going.
