Every season we see new and inventive ways and things coming into football. New formations, new buzz words, new ways of doing everything, new things needed.

Not everyone is comfortable with change, despite knowing it needs to happen for the good of the game at times but normally there is quite some resistance.

Now we’re not talking scrapped FA Cup replays here or different rule changes, but new additions to the game. And by that I mean the likes of Hashtag Utd and Dorking Wanderers, two very different stories but making their own strides within the game. This season will see the famed SE Dons arriving in the National Game system, but how do they fit and will they be the last?
