Storm Darragh Doesn't Stop Everything

Goals rained down in amongst the blustery conditions

With Storm Darragh dictating proceedings at the weekend, not too many games survived the weather up and down the country. With concerns over health and safety inside and around stadiums coupled with potential for waterlogged pitches there was a lot of options to consider.

Even some of the games scheduled for 3G surfaces didn’t survive, you can only wonder those safety fears played their part. As always on a Saturday morning there is one eye at least across the Sussex fixtures, trying to get as much information about on our X/Twitter feed to keep as many people as possible informed.

I had been asked earlier in the week where I was headed, I hadn’t made a 100% commitment anywhere and with the knowledge of an invitation to join a good friend along the coast, that was where I ended up.
