Saturday afternoon could have been another trip to The Hive such is now the run of three home games for the Bees, but trying to keep the blog varied so everyone isn’t reading about the same teams and grounds is the name of the game.

Plus I had already promised Patrick and Nicky Chambers from Hungerford I would make my way to the Crucial Environmental Stadium not far from me for the afternoon entertainment.

The game had all the makings of a tight close contest, Worthing have won emphatically in midweek after three straight losses while Hungerford were coming into the games with three straight wins, both sides also needing the points for different reasons.
