Play off rivals have to be content sharing the spoils
A Tuesday night trip to Kent was on the agenda this week and back to Tonbridge Angels. Having seen them only a couple of weeks ago holding fellow play-off contenders Hampton & Richmond at the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium Aveley were the visitors this time around.
The Essex side have enjoyed a fine start to the season after promotion last year and represented another good test for the Angels who have climbed the table and sat just outside the play-off’s at the start of the day.
After an indifferent start, Jay Saunders’ side have started to settle into the groove after a lot of personnel changes since the season began, the results now showing their early season position to be pretty false.
