Despite the weather getting that much colder in the evenings but with no interest at all in the World Cup for me there was still plenty of non-league matches to be watching. I had already decided on Horsham vs Cray Wanderers earlier in the month and it also tied in with some work for our PNLP (Premier Non-League Podcast as well).

It was also a chance to catch up with the Cray gaffer Neil Smith who is a very good mate of mine and also the Horsham assistant manager Adam Westwood, plus a shorter journey home than usual!

The temperature might have dropped a fair bit but the evening stayed dry for those in attendance. Cray started the slightly brighter of the two sides and had an early penalty shout when Ben Krauhaus went down in the area under a challenge from Chris Sessegnon but nothing rightly given for that one.
