This time of year is just perfect for getting out to watch at least two games a week with a ton of matches to choose from and the likelihood there is going to be a cup replay or two thrown into the mix.
I had put on my list to head to Newhaven on Tuesday evening as they took on Little Common in the Southern Combination Premier Division, at the time I didn’t know it was due to be the first home game on the new 3G surface until informed afterwards.
Almost a spanner in the works however that Newhaven drew 0-0 in the FA Cup at the weekend, but that only meant Little Common were replaced as opponents by Isthmian League Sheppey Utd from the South East division.
