Lack of quality sends cup tie to a replay
Rocks and Wands must try again on Wednesday evening
Saturday afternoon kept me local, a chance to take in some FA Cup action as Cray Wanderers headed to the Sussex coast to take on Bognor Regis. Only a couple of weeks ago I was witnessing a 2-2 draw between these sides in the Isthmian Premier Division so was going to be interesting to see how this one played out.
Since that game the season for both so far has gone in opposite directions. While Bognor thumped Aveley 6-1 directly after their visit to Hayes Lane they then shipped six goals in two losses whilst the Wands have picked up two wins and a draw since hosting the Rocks.
