Millers begin the New Year still in the title hunt

New Years Day, bonus football for me, having finished 2023 at The Hive 2024 began with a trip back home to Kent and a venue just around the corner where I spent my latter teenage years.

Now we’re into the last four or so months of the season and having been to most of the grounds I wanted to this year I tend to concentrate on games that have more riding on them, title or play-off contenders, relegation battlers but also still some good people to see.

Although I haven’t quite yet taken to looking for those scenarios Sevenoaks Town versus Cray Valley PM had all the makings of a decent game of football. Oaks are challenging for the Isthmian League South East play-off’s, the Millers firmly in the title race after playing catch up recently to their superb FA Cup and Trophy runs.
