The fifth and final play-off game in seven days was another one for Sussex. Having done the travel at the beginning part of the week it culminated in two games much closer to home.
Step 6 is the lowest level for play-off’s and having started the week at the top in the National League probably fitting I ended up at the bottom. Only Step 2 has been missing this week but some great action through all the games.
My final destination was Seaford Town on the Sussex coast, hosting Wick with the winners promoted to the Premier Division in the Southern Combination. A bright sunny day made for a nice change in what has been a drab year weather wise so far, a good crowd expected with a season’s work on the line.
