Tuesday night was very much touch and go with the excessive rain deciding to fall across Sussex and with a complete contrast of weather to just five days earlier time is starting to run out for those with games postponed now.
The second game in 48 hours was down in Step 6 for Wick vs East Preston in the Southern Combination, a local derby with the hosts set for the end of the season play offs while it’s been a troubled season for the visitors.
