The recently updated Oaklands Park, home of Chichester City

Tuesday saw the end of the mini Sussex tour, this fourth and final instalment was actually the only one of the lot originally planned in at the beginning of the month, the rest kind of just fell into place.

Having seen Lancing, Worthing and Bognor Regis in the past week and a half it was the turn of Chichester City and with a win, a draw, and a loss for the three Sussex sides prior, no telling’s which way this one was going to go.

The visitors Merstham hit six the previous Tuesday at Broadbridge Heath, their hosts that night matching them goal for goal, and having seen two 1-0 wins and a 1-1 draw surely I was due a little goal fest of my own?
