Bees have just about enough to take the points

Heading to The Hive after a 5-0 weekend thumping probably didn’t seem the wisest thing to do on Tuesday evening but in season where the bumps and troughs might be huge at times you’ve got to hang in there.

A win at home to Maidstone Utd who were as out of form as the Bees were was vital to arrest the slide in which Dean Brennan’s side hadn’t won in five games and the early season optimism appeared to have vanished as quickly as it came.

A couple of changes to the weekend line up saw Michael Phillips drop into the back four and a rare start for Rob Hall whilst Harry Pritchard was fit to play despite suffering what looked like a bad knee injury on Saturday.
