The play-off’s. Described as the end of season lottery it brings with it so many different emotions during the course of an afternoon or the evening. A whole season of 38-46 games come down to 90 minutes firstly to reach the final or in the case of the National League avoid being eliminated before that round.

Depending on which way you look at it, it’s either harsh or exciting. Now I say that because it’s the two emotions you feel one of by end generally, in between it’s a huge catalogue of high’s and low’s.

Sometimes you wonder what you did before they were invented. They arrived in the Football League first and slowly filtered their way down into non-league football. They’ve provided some great entertainment at all ends of the spectrum, memories fans, players and staff will keep for a lifetime but also the reality of a loss and another season at the same level.
