Littlehampton Town’s Sportsfield Ground awaits resolution

Quite often plenty happens in non-league that could make a good article but if I took up everything I saw then I’d not really have much time for anything else and probably go to bed thinking what I hadn’t written and should have done amongst other things.

County Cup competitions were something I blogged on a month or two ago about whether they still have a place in the modern game and the fact most finals aren’t taking place at the highest ranked ground in the county nor are all entering the competition.

Just before the weekend I came across a statement from Littlehampton Town who are due to host Brighton & Hove Albion in the next round of the competition. Of course their first team doesn’t participate, it’s the Under 23s and Under 18s who get the nod to represent the Premier League club.
