Hard fought win earns play-off place

Barnet vs Solihull Moors at The Hive

Tuesday night, the final midweek trip to The Hive, it seems like I’ve done double this year thanks to the weather and Barnet actually giving us a season to be thankful for.

Despite being in the play off places for a few months, three more points were needed to secure a spot against a Solihull side who had long given up on the chase and conserving their energy and money for a better run next season.

The Bees welcomed back Dale Gorman to the bench on top of the three returnees from Saturday’s draw with Wrexham, only Ben Wynter the significant player missing from the line up.
