The Kent Senior Cup

I nearly used this piece as last week’s Freebie Friday but decided against to stick with my original idea but then on decided that this would form the last blog of November and here it is.

Last week whilst listening to the Non-League Show podcast with Tim Fuell in conversation with Jon Couch from the Non League Paper the mention of County Cups came up and immediately gave me thought for another blog piece, basically how relevant are they now and has it come to the point of not inviting the professional clubs into the mix anymore or entry under certain conditions?

Now there are a few reasons why I ask that and I hope to tackle some of those points below. I grew up in a time when the county cup competition was still high on the agenda for all clubs from the top of the game down to the county league level.
